Case Studies

Case Study 1 – Overwhelmed sewage smell

Complaints of sewerage smell in a newly renovated floor lingering over the entire office area in one of the buildings in Orchard. We were called in after several unsuccessful experiences with other contractors to solve the urgent problem. After a thorough site survey and video inspection of the supply ductwork, we traced the source of the smell to a damaged sewerage vent pipe located in the Air Handling Room. For the remediation works, we suggested the main supply duct and coils to be cleaned and sanitized to remove any potential microbial contamination, as well as a ozone shock treatment in the AHU.

Case Study 2 – Removal of debris in ducts

We were awarded a tender to clean and sanitise the air supply ductwork for a government building. Most importantly is to remove torn internal insulation that was blown throughout the entire ductwork from a previously collapsed supply duct. We used the COLLOM technology to remove all torn insulation from the main and sub ducts as small as 200mm by 200mm and followed on to sanitise the internal ductwork to ensure that ductwork is free of any microbial contamination.
