Case Studies 1 – Shopping Mall
IEQ Intellicoil Solutions is a suite of environmentally-friendly non-corrosive multi-enzymes that treat and enable ACMV systems to achieve optimal performance via improved ventilaiton coil heat exchange and improved airflow. In doing so, it provides excellent indoor environment quality, reduced energy consumption, manageable operating cost and maintenance effort. It also protects and extends the lifespan of costly ACMV equipment.
IEQ completed the application treatment to the whole building's Central Air-Conditioning System for a shopping centre. The monitored ACMV Air Handling Units have recorded significant increases in air-conditioning air flow volume by over 20 percent, thus improving efficiency and indoor thermal comfort. Equally significant was the energy cost for the building's central air-conditioning system which has been reduced by 10 percent in one month.
Case Studies 2 – Overwhelmed sewage smell
The client had received complaints of sewerage odour in a newly-renovated building floor lingering over the entire office area in an Orchard Road Building. IEQ was contacted after several unsuccessful attempts by other contractors to solve the urgent problem. After a thorough site survey and video inspection of the supply ductwork, IEQ traced the source of the smell to a damaged sewerage vent pipe located in the Air Handling Room. For the remediation works, the main supply duct and coils were cleaned and sanitized to remove any potential microbial contamination. In addition, ozone shock treatment was carried out in the AHU.
Case Studies 3 – Removal of debris in ducts
IEQ was awarded the tender to clean and sanitise the air supply ductwork for a sizeable commercial building. At the same time, IEQ discovered and remove torn internal insulation that was blown throughout the entire ductwork from a previously collapsed supply duct. The insulation was found to contain tiny fibre glass particles that is extremely harmful to humans. IEQ used the Intelli Air Duct Cleaning technology together with IEQ's IntelliGel to sanitise the internal ductwork to ensure that the ductwork remains free of any microbial contamination.
